Experience

David H. Del Valle is a Industrial designer from Medellin , Colombia. During the last 10 years he has

been working in manufacturing methodologies and digital and large-scale production processes.

​

Professionally he has developed Architectural products like the facade of the Green Pavilion convention center and events in Medellin , La Muela facade , dental center in the city of Bucaramanga and the water wall in the city of Medellin. Also has created metal and concrete public

furniture.

​

His has gained experience in furniture creation by digital manufacturing, designing in CAD software and CAM machining software assisted by CNC numerical control equipment.

 

His creativity and innovative capacity let him implement the knowledge of Design

to create 2D and 3D modeling , commercial or institutional campaigns from

creative use of word and image. Teaching in the areas of 3D modeling and parametric design

workshops on a project experience and actual developments and industrial applications; Like

INSITU where he participated in the address area of Manufacturing .

He is part of the international collective uAbureau as Industrial designer in the area

manufacturing and design.

Full time researcher of issues related to digital production, further innovation , Open Source , parametric design , and related with new technology for the generation of design. Diffusing

capacity of projects and designs in several renowned publications in the middle of the design. David is currently the CEO Manager of the company's design and production TU TALLER DESIGN

Mención honorífica Rápido de Diseño EXPERIMENTA 2009 con el proyecto PETALO VORONOI.

Ganador del Premio ECO SXSW, Austin Texas, Innovación Social con el proyecto INSITU.

​

Publicación en la Bienal de Beijing 2010 con el proyecto F.L.O.W Workshop de Diseño paramétrico en Latinoamérica. Participación como Docente del Curso.

 

Ganador de Beca para el curso de verano de la Unversidad A.A Visiting School de Londres.
